Both variables should have the same value. As our computer names follow a pattern, I have hacked together a script that when you feed it the collection ID that the computers are in, it creates both variables for each machine in the collection. If this should be run sometime during the deployment process, during which pass should this be done?
Thanks for the tips, but do you think this works for Refresh scenarios too where i need to restore the user state information. If i use the OSD computername variable this will change the computer name but at the same time it will break my user state migration.
